Okay here is the problem.

I had the urge the other day to start playing Ragnarok Online again since it has moved to the free2play model that all the MMO's these days seem to be moving towards.

Got a friend to download the client cause i couldn't seem to access it.
Got it off him today and it installed fine but does not want to connect to the patching system.
It just comes up with an error message and times out.

I cant access the Ragnarok website either now it just seems to time out.
I have been reading about changing my DNS so i can access certain websites that the paradise DNS does not seem to be able to reach. EG: The Escapist magazine website.

Im on the Wellington Cable as well.

What are the DNS's i can use to be able to get past this problem.

Okay well i have added in the extra DNS to our router. 203.97.78.43/44

To no avail.

The Website im trying to access is www.playragnarok.com
Sometimes the website works ... other times it just loads up to a blank screen after about 2 minutes.

When i can access the website the one i still cannot access www.warpportal.com which is what i need to connect to to enable my account with ragnarok ... it worked once.

Any help you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Prehaps you could try google's DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
Remember though, any DNS server thats not your ISP's DNS server will massivly increase your ping times, bad news for gamers.

Also both those sites opened in seconds for me however I'm with a deferent ISP.

[edit] I would set the DNS in your PC rather than in the router, though some may beg to differ.
