We recently switched to tcl following telecoms pr disaster when the marketing gurus stopped the big time plan with very poor tactics. this was on top of stopping the go large which was equally disastrous
however we were enjoying 13 mbps consistently with Telecom- day and night. herne bay address.Ponsonby exchange
Wireless modem
Now we are with TCL we get under 2 mbps in the evening if we are lucky.The only time we get 13 mbps is at 6 am in the morning !
Dlink modem.
The street we are in means TCL use Telecom's lines to deliver the broadband . Could be the issue
We can hardly use the internet at night esp if watching video .TCL have been quite helpful in trying to sort this out , new reuter options, trace reuts included. "nothing wrong there " we are told
however we still get this throttling back
Is it Telecom doing it to all customers or are they perhaps pinging back other telco's clients ?
Are Auckland central broadband customers getting throttled back across the board ?
Any one with similar experience please let us know. Very frustrating and not sure what to do next ...
My xt mobile stick gets 7 mbps from home - pity we cant get a better plan for that
