Hi,

Just a quick question. Vodafone have a series of Vodafone brand named mobiles that they will sell normally identified by simply a number. So for instance the Vodafone 546.

Are these likely to be usable with 2 Degrees SIMs. i.e. are they likely to be locked to the Vodafone network?

I got a Vodafone 845 just had to change a few settings and it work's just fine on 2degrees. Should be no reason it cant be used on 2 degrees. You just need to change settings for data and MMS (PXT) to work. No phone networked locked in NZ anymore.

We have come across Vodafone mobiles that do not allow certain settings to be changed IE proxy settings, the APN, the default Homepage of the web browser. In most of these cases the internet using experience has been degraded as we have been unable to get around some settings.

In most cases they should work but we can't gaurantee that all of them would work without a Firmware/Flex update.
