Despite TCL's less than stellar implementation or even comprehension of customer service, I recommended their cable Internet to a friend who has just arrived in NZ from Canada. The house is already cabled for TCL, the previous owners were using them.
On phoning to place the order she has been asked for passport and visa details, and getting TCL to even confirm they can provide her a service seems beyond their capability, never mind sending out a tech to hook them up.
Anyone else aware of such a reluctance by TCL to sign up a new revenue source ?
