From the vodafone website:
Terms and Conditions
- If you use data without an Add-on, you will be charged at our casual data use is charged at $1 for up to 10MB each day you use it, and then $1 per MB thereafter) apply automatically when data is used without an Add-on.
According to that, the absolute maximum you should have been charged for 11.88MB would be ~$12, and likely to be much less if your usage wasn't spread out over too many days.
EDIT: Unless vodafone are charging the $1/day even if you only use a few KB of data in a day, In which case this would be a legitimate price to charge you -- although it IS a bit outrageous if vodafone ARE charging in this manner.

scheduler: I understood that once you used 1kb you would be charged $1.00 so therefore that would indicate you used Mobile Data on 25 days of the month? I Think the rate is fairly clearly set out. You would be better to have a add on if using any Data on a regular basis

SteveON: screw that... no wonder people are leaving in droves... I always thought it was worked out on the the part of the data you use... e.g. 1mb = 10c
No wonder my money never lasted long on this network.

If the casual rate was always 10c per MB, why would anyone buy the 100MB for $10 addon (BB Lite)? There would be no point to it.
