My Cisco WIP310 is setup and working now making and receiving calls like a charm only problem i have is if i miss a call i get and icon on the display that says one voice message.

Pressing the voice mail button calls 99 but this number is not listed apparently.

How dose the voice mail with Open VFX work. Do i need a special setup or is there a special number to ring.

Jono

By default some phone manufactures install a number, when you change it you might want to do what I do and put in the number, followed by the voice mail box, followed by 1.  That takes you straight to your messages and then you just have to press 1 to listen to the message :D dont forget pauses between the differing menus!

Yep , just change the VM number to 082210 and you will be good to go, by default it will as for a password but you can log into the Web Portal and allow it to connect automatically, will be uner messaging, voice portal

I have my voicemails automatically forwarded to my email address, no need to make calls :-)

And if forward to e-mail, remember to also request XNet to not store the voice mail else your mailbox will fill up.

little difficult when you use Ubuntu thats my only gripe with Xnet they don't make their tools for Linux would be kewl if someone made a linux version of the Voicemaill tool and the Usage Monitor.

Just an Idea
