I am porting a number over to 2degrees, instead of waiting until the 27th of this month when the contract expires I was considering doing it early.

So I guess the question is does Vfone consider this breaking contract?  I wouldnt have thought so given I wot be cancelling and they will have to provide no service for the money!  But stranger things have happened, so thought I had better check!!

Anyone done this?  Im scared to talk to a Rep and find out it aint so true!!

Cheers

Yes, this would be breaking the contract.

Best to wait until your term is over if you can.

Porting will close your account so you'll technically be breaking it. If you have paid last months bill you have paid in advance for the service however so shouldn't technically have an issue.

The only way you'll get an answer is to speak to Vodafone..

Hmm thanks guys, I think I will set the other account up with the 2degrees sim and port over after contract date then to be sure.
