The timestamp on all sms that I receive is wrong by 11/13 hours (depending on which way you look at it).

Send myself a text at 6.30am (and I receive it immediately) but the timestamp says it was received at 5.30pm.

Its like my phone (or the network?) thinks it is in the UK.

I have checked the settings in my phone and can't see anything amiss.

Have also called vodafone help desk and they advise that they had reset somehting on their end and asked me to remove my battery, re-insert it and reset the time & date.  Didn't help.

Any ideas?

[Nokia 2330]

And you checked the timezone on the phone settings as well?

My wife used to get this all through every daylights savings on her nokia (also on VF). And yes the timezone was correct, just seemed to ignore the Daylight savings

Somehow missed this. Thanks MF.

Thought I had been through every single setting in my phone. Doh. Even trolled through the user manual twice.

Oh well...so I look like a tech-less dick...at least my issue is solved....yay Geekzone!

DST issues are usually one hour out, not full twelve hours (thirteen if DST). See previous reply, I rest my case.
