A colleague has a BB Storm which is connected to a BES server. Whenever he gets a MMS all he sees in his inbox is a note from VF saying he has received a PXT message and to go to www.pxtworld.co.nz to view it. It's not a link to the picture - just a generic one.

This doesn't seem normal behaviour (or is it?)

Any ideas what could be going on here?

Thanks

The end users needs to send a MMS (PXT) first

Get them to send a PXT to their own mobile number as a test

He tried that. Went to send a MMS and the phone said No MMS Service Record -  Message cannot be sent.

There must be some BB setting on the phone that hasn't been setup properly.

Any ideas what it should be?

Thanks

I have access to the BES server. Can you tell me where I should be looking to implement this feature?

Thanks

Are you a BES admin?

What BES version?

Select the user on the BES and then select re-send service book

Check the IT policy config allows MMS as well.

A single BES can have more than 1 IT policy as well

Well I am not a BES admin but we don't have one so I am as good as it gets!

BES version 4.1.4.19

I resent the service book - nothing happened on the phone and when he tries to send MMS same error

I can't see anywhere in the IT Policy that enables or disables MMS. We have two policies, Blank and Default and I can't see how MMS is enabled or disabled in it.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.
