I have been reading a few different forums at the moment about how 2 Degrees are "better" than Vodafone, while some of their rates are great, I have actually been on both networks. I find that Vodafone customer service is getting alot better, where 2 Degrees service is actually great. However when it comes to choosing a network I want something that works, and on 2 Degrees my texts are taking up to 12 hours to go through sometimes. This also happens with most of my calls, they just go to a "this number is inactive" message. I would rather pay a little more money on a trustworthy service, than pay for a cheap service that does't work as well.

It really depends on weather your are roaming or not, I am in Wgtn so have all the benefits of their network.

I find that telecom can take up to 2 hours to receive a text during peak time but this has got better.

The number inactive thing used to happen, I have not had this for a wile.

this is true. I can't understand why I am still having issues though. Well I think for now I am going to stick with Vodafone though, because as I said their service is improving and although their rates may not always be as great as other networks, they do have a really strong network that gets the job done.

Have you used Vodafone before SteveOn?

Boom for astroturfing - someone pretending to be a customer when he's not...

I have used 2 degrees for about 1 year now.

My texts always go through straight away and I havent had any calls not get through either.
I also roamed with it overseas and it always connected to the overseas networks.

I will spell out here... Don't give this person more troll food. This person was posting from inside the Vodafone corporate network, so it's not a real customer.

This person was astroturfing, a bad practice and something we do not allow here. I just left the post up for people to know this is WRONG.

Please do not use this discussion to compare Vodafone and 2degrees.

Even though you're banned, you should be aware that actual humans don't really speak like this.

Or in your muppet speak:

"I think for now that you have been subtracted from these fine forums, as the tone of your posts is not of a high caliber unlike the other stronger posters here.  Unfortunately the job has been done on you.  Be great."

Audiophiles are such twits! They buy such pointless stuff: Gold plated cables, $2000 power cords. Idiots.

Had a gut feeling when I read the OP, when it was first posted, that something wasn't quite right. Especially for a first post, it was like they were wanting to start a flame war between the two networks.

I think the most interesting thing about it is... What possessed the person to Astroturf in the first place??? What did he hope to possibly gain?  Especially with MF able to track the person back to the corporate Vodafone proxy server.  All he could do is look like an idiot.

Not a good look for Vodafone either.  No doubt the "offender" will be dealt with!

I don't blame the company at all. Unless the company is dodgy (it happens, but it's not the case), most of these actions are the initiative of overzealous employees who have no idea of the consequence of their actions.

Although posting this in a vf forum is really advertising the other company, just seeing the name may have reminded a few more people to switch.
