This is a error that only happens with import handsets.

You will manually need to enter the PXT settings.

Than the handset is a import its up to you to reslove.

thanks, wife brought it off trademe.
it does have a nz power plug so she thought it was a nz phone,
she didnt ask if it was nz or from overseas. so no recourse there.
where would i find the settings to put in manually or do i have to go to a vodafone shop
to have them done ?

The handset is a import so its not a vodafone issue.

Best idea find someone with a V3 and match the settings up

them but this i dont know how to do.

i need to delete the server profiles so i can put the vodafone nz one on it. any place in akld i can go to and have it
done without messing up my fone.
