Hi, I just went to reboot my cable box (had no EPG for 3 days) and now it wont start... The 2 digit LED display on the front counts 0, 1, 2, 3 and then says "rA" and switches off. no life from there.
Any ideas?

Edit: It's really going to suck for the kids if it wont start because we have no FTA aerial so no TV!

Did you try calling TC customer service? That seems the obvious thing to do.

You tried calling them recently? Especially since the 22nd!
I tried twitter, but I thought that someone here might have a key combo / hint to reboot it.

Good point. I thought their customer service was in Manilla or something anyway, so other than extra load shouldn't be too bad.

When I call TC I call from my cell, which has a speaker phone. If they have to pay for an hour of my on hold on my cell I don't mind too much :)

HAHA, true!
I actually did get through to them (about 2 mins ago), sounds like my STB has died... tech coming 0830-0930 tomorrow!  And it wasn't even Manilla! I was amazed after the disaster that was my "moving house". Apparently they have been listening!

Still, it sucked being tied to a phone on my week off :(
