A poll held over the weekend by VF as to which form of social media you prefer, and the subsequent postings on their Twitter and Facebook accounts today leads me to believe that tomorrow morning they will be announcing non stop Facebook and/or Twitter for on account customers.

Seems as though this promotion was done previously for pre pay customers but now it is time for us on account-ers to reap the benefits!

Thoughts?,,,

Thoughts are that VF are still up to their old games of giving better value to Pre-Pay.

"non stop Facebook and/or Twitter for on account customers" - so zero rated data to either site? I'm not quite sure what you mean.

Apologies for being vague. Yes, zero rated data to either site. Or so VF would have me believe

Is it another simple, "for a limited time" "free try before you buy"

or are they intending to make those sites zero rated for ever... - my money is on the former,

What's not clear is... what about the integrated services with Android, iOS and Windows Phone 7 where they all can tie in to Facebook and Twitter through apps/APIs, wonder if those service traffics be zero-rated as well?

Full details are here

http://www.vodafone.co.nz/specials-promos/nonstop/

It's only 3 twitter ap's that are zero rated. The vast majority of twitter users won't benefit from this "free" offer because they will still be charged for Twitter access.

I've actually just been told that it is apparently zero rating traffic that uses the Twitter API.

It says "Grab a Mobile Internet Add-On on Supa Prepay and you'll get nonstop Facebook and Twitter each month until 30 April 2011 without it counting towards your monthly data allowance."

Until 30th April 2011? That's not much at all - just next month?

That's because it's been around since last year for Supa Prepay, that page has been up for ages.

John stated this on Twitter though:
