Hi Guys,

I purchased an iPhone4 last year on the Iphone40 contract, paid about $700 and costs me $40 per month.

Unfortunatly had my phone stolen last weekend, don't think I can claim on insurance.

Would anyone know what my options would be for purchasing a new iPhone4? Being only available on contract I wouldn't be able to just get a new one without starting a new contract right?

Cheers for your help.

Depends where you live. If you're in NZ you can buy the iPhone outright and unlocked directly from Apple or a number of other vendors. You don't have to buy on contract.

If you're in America then you need to speak with your Telco.

Do you have contents insurance? If so then it should be covered under that.
