Hi all,
I am having a problem accessing this financial services website.I am only able to access it via a proxyserver (eg www.bind2.com) which is unsecure,so not  suitable.
I have raised the issue with Xnet and Capitahartshead, but was wondering if other people are having the same problem or is it just me?

Thanks in advance,   Shirley  :)

Not working here on Vodafone NZ Fixed Line Broadband.
UPDATE: Interestingly, it works off of my Vodafone NZ Mobile Broadband (iPhone 4).

Change your DNS to one confirmed working, like TelstraClear. Issue is probably with the XNet DNS not resolving that address.

Hi, thanks for the replies, sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

Tried changing my DNS server to xtras  (202.27.158.40 / 202.27.156.72) but no success.
Talked to the Xnet techs they were able to access the site by using an IP address in a different
 range to mine.

They suggested that the site may be blocking ip addresses in my range, so will have to contact
 capitahartshead.

Thanks again
Shirley

Interesting. I'm on Xnet too and have tried to access this site but can't. I've found Xnet can be quite finicky with what it'll connect to at times and if I can't get where I want to go using IE (9) I'll try Firefox or Chrome. That didn't work in this case.

Tried doing a ping and a tracert - both failed. But, through a proxy there's no problems with connecting. Hope it gets sorted out for you soon.
