Saw this label stuck to a traffic ligh post and I wanted to know what's it. any ideas?

It's a sticker, it's more like a badge, and a weather/time resistant at that one.

I haven't noticed one. An under-cover cell tower maybe? Anything at the top of the pole other than traffic lights? Perhaps they're remote controlled traffic lights using Vodafone for wireless remote? Sorry just some wild ideas

Looks like a Vodafone cell tower. There was (maybe still is) one in Manukau City (Akl) made to look like a palm tree, complete with palm fronds. Looked right at home in with a bunch of real palms. There are more like this but I don't recall where.

They are microcells. There are now around about 30 or so of these around the Wgtn CBD. Both the panels as photograped and also some short (around 15cm) omni's as well..
