Hi there,
I've been dealing with Xnet's technical support team (who have been really good) but wanted to see if any other Xnet customers are having the same issues that I have.
I'm setting up Xnet Fusion for my wife's business in a new office that they are about to relocate to. I purchased a Cisco SRP527W and plugged it in but the CD light flashes for around 5 seconds and then stops for about 30 seconds and then the cycle is repeated. No other lights are on except for the power light which is solid green.
Telecom came back and tested the install and line and said that it was ok as it worked fine on their equipment. I then returned the router (thinking it was faulty) but the new router (same model) has exactly the same problem.
I phoned Xnet and they reckon that the SRP527W can sometimes have issues when interleaving is turned on, so they've requested that Telecom turn it off. For whatever reason this is taking days to get done and Xnet are chasing this up.
Has anyone else had a similar issue with the SRP527W or similar Cisco router? Does turning off interleaving really solve this issue? I'm a little sceptical that it will.
I need the Internet connection working by Monday and am thinking as a temporary solution just heading down to Dick Smith tomorrow and buying a standard ADSL router just so they will have Internet access in the meantime (we should be able to route the phone number to a mobile).
Any assistance would be most appreciated.
