Possibly one for John,

But anyone aware if VF are happy to keep their contract users up to date when still running older SIMs?

I've been feeding out $30 a month now for the past.. 12 or so years just to hold the same number incase my work ever decided to take their phone back one way or another.

As a result, my sim is still your run of the mill 8K (might be 16) classic with next to no facy toolkit and very limited contact/txt space.

Am I likely to be able to batter eyelids and get it swapped/migrated to a 256K (the norm?) or would it mean forking over dollars and losing my current number.

I take it I would need to chat up a nice CSR to arranging as apposed to finding a retail store and convince them.

Why don't you put your number on Prepay?

You can also change to a cheaper plan that includes much more and no contract
