Hi:

I seem to have some trouble getting the VFX Call Forwarding Not Reachable option to work properly.  I am currently overseas, and I have turned off my ATA at home, and tried enabling the VFX Call Forwarding Not Reachable option to forward all incoming calls to my NZ 027 mobile while I am overseas.  I am very certain my cell phone is allowed to roam overseas - I can ring my cell phone directly.

However, when I tried ringing my VFX number, it does not forward the calls to my cell phone - my phone doesn't ring and I get a "calling failed" tone.

I have checked and it seemed that I have enabled the Call Forwarding Not Rachable option correctly - basically the option was turned on, and the phone number that is indicated is 027xxxxxxx (my 027 number).

Have I done this correctly?  Am I missing something here?

nope you have done it correctly, if the device is not online call forward unreachable will dial the number you put in, I can't check your records as I don't know who you are, drop me a PM and I will take a look

CF unreachable is working but seems to be an issue on delivery to that number when the call has been diverted, you can ring it direct but seems to be getting rejected when call forwarded... one of my guys is taking a look at it now

try now, it appears to be working now ... when the team was looking at this it just started working, I would like to think we did something but at this stage I don't have an answer of why these calls failed when handed off to the carrier when diverted, but all of a sudden it just started working .... so a little confused at present.

See how you go anyway.

I gave it a go but unfortunately it is still not working, although there is some progress - I can now hear the ringing tone on the callnig phone, but the forwarded phone still doesn't ring.

Yes it looks like an issue downstream by the looks of it for some reason, when we tested yesterday it appeared to resolve but may now be back... will keep on it
