I'm on fusion and I'm getting a new router tomorrow.

I seem to remember having to supply a mac address to xnet.

I presume I'll have to give them a new one. Which mac address is it and how do I find it on a srp527?

What its the mac used for? Voice?

Thanks

Yes thats correct we do a change device from your old to the SRP and it sets up a voice profile based on the MAC and device type, the mac is on the bottom of the SRP

It's required so we can move your Phone details to the new device... The force is strong with us but not guite strong enough to guess what device you have :)

Thanks Maverick.

Rung up today and got it all changed over.

One thing though. When I rang I asked if they would un-provision my old router.  They said yes they would. There was about 2 hours after I rang to when I unplugged the old router.

The old router is still provisioned and the voice interface is still locked.

What can I do now do unlock it?

Reset the router....
push the reset button on the back for about 10 seconds,

Reset the voice module...
Plug the phone into line 1 .... dial **** you will get a RVA
dial RESET # i.e 73738#

When we change the device we also put up a blank config to reset the old device, it would need to be online and repowered to pick up the blank config
