How has texts been between Vodafone and Telecom the past few days? Any significant slowdowns, or problems with multipart texts? Any problems at all?

I regularly have issues with txt messages between carriers, as my wife has a work phone on TC and my work is with VF.

Mostly its ok, but every now and again txts can sometimes take several hours to receive, there has even been a couple of examples arriving the next day!

I doubt much would be achieved raising this as a fault as undoubtedly each telco would blame the other, although I will say that sending from TC to VF definitely appears to be worse.

I always heed Johnr's advice...if its important ring. NEVER rely on a txt message getting through.

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

Thanks guys. I know to call if it's important, but if it's something simple like arranging transport and the person's somewhere loud txt is handy.

I'm just a bit fed up with continued problems between Telecom and 2degrees. It works ok 90% of the time, but then you get an hour or two every couple of days when txts take an hour to arrive, arrive out of order, that sort of thing.
