Hi all

Just wondering how long should I expect to wait to hear when my broadband + phoneline connection is going to be organised?  I ordered it all online on the 28 May and want it setup on the 23rd June, I got the email when I signed up saying in the next ten days we'll do a credit check, finalise the day and time of installation and send out the free modem.

I'm due to shift next week and what to know when its all gonna happen cause come Monday my internet gets switched off  and on Tuesday the phone also so if I need to talk to someone I want to be able to do it this week.

Plus thinking they'd send out the modem ahead of time I organised it to come to my old address, so I might need to change that cause mail redirects don't work for parcels or couriers...

cheers

With mine they couldn't tell me the date until telecom had released the line so it meant going without fixed bb for a week.

Have you checked the signup tracker online it shows you exactly where it's up to.

ah ha...sign up tracker...forgot about that.

Probably right about having to wait for Telecom to release the line...that would make sense. Cheers

When I joined up with Vodafone, I was told between 7-10 days (which is their standard time frame) for Homeline & BB, but it only took 3 days, for both to be connected.

The point is - it can vary, but so long as all of the paperwork & request information is sent correctly to Chorus - you should expect everything to be up & running with 4~5 days - on average.
