Hi there
What servers should I use in order to send emails using Outlook (a telstraclear email address) while on Vodafone 3G prepaid mobile broadband?
Would I only need to change the outgoing server?

StevieT: Thanks for the replies. Every now and again I'm not using my home network (i.e. travel from Wellington to Palmerston North) and ultilise my mobile broadband stick on the journey up, so I'll note down the STMP server for Vodafone and change it each time I require sending emails through Outlook while on the mobile 3G network.

Hi, there's a way around that too! You don't need to change them every time...
POP : pop.clear.net.nz, authenticated with username / password
SMTP : smtp.clear.net.nz also authenticated with username and password. Tick the box I previously mentioned not to.
Try SSL on / off settings to see which one works for you, this way you wont have to change the SMTP server if you use mobile broadband or home broadband. It will work anyway with any internet.
Not sure if you need to pay extra $$$ to use the Telstra SMTP, but I reckon there is no harm in trying, it MAY work!!! :)
