After trial and error, I finally found how to set up World Exchange WXC VFX VOIP service on a softphone such as Counterpath's X-Lite or Eyebeam software. Unfortunately because I am using an OPEN SOURCE software instead of WXC supported devices, they are unable to provide support for my device/software.
I have included the setup configuration I used to successfully get it working, details below.

First step is to go to your softphone's settings.
  1. Click on SIP account's (or add SIP account, your device will have a similar option)
  2. Enter your display name (usually your phone number without leading 0 e.g. 79857XXX
  3. Enter your username (usually same as display name)
  4. Enter password
  5. Enter Authorized username
  6. Enter Domain
Domain Proxy Settings
  1. Tick  Register with domain
  2. Untick use as outbound proxy
than click ok.

Your softphone should now be setup to use VFX

The "no support" policy is not because it's an Open Source software, but because it's not an official product. WorldxChange has a good product and they guarantee it will work, worry free, when using their preconfigured boxes. Any other configuration (non-official box, PBX configuration, etc) it's at the customers' risk and choice.

As for the settings, those are pretty standard. You will need to worry about some router configuration later if things don't work well.

well you did seem to ask for a response did you not ?

"lol I am a wannabe geek bahahahaha, it suppose to say that I am ingenious :D and WXC is not lol." pretty frivolous don't you think ?

As Mauricio points out this is pretty standard stuff as you would have been sent all the details in the welcome email, nice of you to post what you did. The reason the support staff will tell we don't support how you set it up is because of the amount of time support staff could spend on the phone with customers trying to work out software applications and hardware that they have no knowledge of, there are so many different implementations around register servers, proxy servers authids etc that it can require a bit of work to go through these, The prime job of the support staff is help with issues not to help setup and work their way through devices and software they have no knowledge of, the time taken in trying to sort this type of thing takes a large amount of time and takes away from them dealing with custy problems.

Pull your head in, you're making a fool of yourself. If you have a look around GZ you will soon see who Maverick is. Your original post will most likely help someone, everything since is dribble. Thread locked.
