Someone has given TCL my paradise.net email address as their address for their bandwidth usage notifications. Obviously there's no "Reply-To" in the email and I can't see any quick & easy way to contact them without potentially spending the usual half an hour on hold and then try to explain to them what the issue is.

Is there any easy contact to tell them they're sending things to the wrong account or is it easier to just leave them in my spam folder?

Complaining on social media or a forum they watch is the only way to get fast, efficient, effective service from TC.

Of course, Twitter, -10 points for me for not having thought of that in the first place. Will give them a shot.

Hi Steve,

Email online.marketing@telstraclear.co.nz with your account number and what email address the account should have associated with it. Tim can get that sorted. I'm sure he's pleased I nominated him!

It can also be done online:

Go to Customer Zone / My Profile.

Login and select Order or change products.

Select Make a change / Broadband

Select 'Yes' in Would you like to change your Cable Broadband Plan

Go down to Would you like to change your Email address for usage notifications? and select 'Yes' and fill in the form.

Cheers, Gary

It's not his account that's sending him emails...

Thanks Timmmay,

That's why I posted the email contact details. The info above will help others reading the thread who want to change their email.

Gary
