Hi I have installed the dlink VOIP router and have both phones working "mostly" I have 2 issues.
1. The problem is that when either phone number is rung that both phones ring. Both phones diall out ok .  For the purpose of this discussion phone 1 = 502 number &  phone2 = 592 number.
2. I have my message system set up on 592 and I  can not access the message system. I can get into the voice portal and save my name and voice message however get no option to go to my mailbox. I have logged on to the xport menu for 592 and checked the message system is active and infact that was set up by xnet techs.

Hi Wekalegs,

Your first issue sounds like it is something to do with your device, we will only deliver the call to the one number, it will be up to the device to decide which port/phone is going to receive the alerting. However if you can PM me your numbers I will see what we can see from our end.

Issue two, I will take a look at your voice mail account once I have your details.

I will also suggest that you ensure you are running the latest firmware for your device and that it has been restarted since setting up the voice lines.

Cheers

Josh

I'm guessing you're probably using port 5060 for both registrations - you will need to change one port away from this, try 8060 for one of them.

Hi I now Know why the message box is unavailable. Its because both phone are efectively dialling out on the 502 number and the message box is 592. I have set up 502 so at least messages can be left. Still the problem with dialling out using 502 or phone one number on both phones. What is interesting is that if phone 1 or 2 are being used the other number then comes through to the unused phone.Cry

Hi wekalegs, I was the one trying to help you get this going. We can still see on our end that both lines are registering on 5060 even though we specified one line should use port 8060 on the dlink voice setup.

That's what I find strange about the whole thing, we've specifically told each line to use different ports for the registration but they are still using 5060.

Here's the page I used to get the right settings in the right menus :

http://help.xnet.co.nz/questions/125/D-Link+DVA-G3670B+Setup+Instructions

And here is the userguide I found for your device :

http://files.dlink.com.au/Products/DVA-G3670B/Manuals/DVA-G3670B_A1_Manual_v1.00.pdf

The manual shows each voice line has a priority setup, but that is for outgoing calls as far as I understand, we left the priority on both lines equal on 0 but this might not be relevant.

I don't have any experience with that particular device so i am hoping someone here has an idea why the device isn't picking up the 8060 rule we entered manually.
