Hey guys

I assume we cannot have a dynamic IP on cable?

Will Telstra change my IP if I ask them too, how easy and do they charge?.

I don't specifically, I just want to know if it is possible or if anyone has done it.

I think the big question is why you would possibly have a need to change your IP address?

IP addresses can easily be changed, but TCL aren't just going to change it because you want it changed.

Ok so you don't know. No problem

I don't want to give any examples as I know there will be a 30 page debate of "why would you want to", when all I really want to know is can it be done easily.

It can be done, and probably easily - if you give TCL a good justification, such as "there's some bad guy targeting my current address".

I have the same IP for the last 7 years. Great stuff!

OK cheers for that, pretty much as i suspected. I am only 99% happy with cable now, I guess I can live with that :P
