friend has a v600i from nz vodafone shop.. it will not hold the 3g settings .. i cant understand it, i had to reset the settings  and after about 5 mins it goes back to not being able to use video calling.. what am i doing wrong and why is it doing this..

Could be an idea to take it back to the point of purchase to get it looked at.

Maybe the handset is in fringe 3G coverage and handing back to 2G

There are many factors that come into a handset handing back to 2G when 3G coverage is too low

thank you .. that was the problem, i live in an area that has intermitant 3g coverage :)
