i just recieved an email about 10 free track downloads through vodafone. Cool. Thanks and merry christmas VF

but there was a section of the message that said...

You've also signed up to this great value Add-On as at 9 Dec 2011:
BestMateGet up to 1000 calling minutes plus 1000 TXTs per month to 1 Vodafone NZ mobile to use anytime for just $6. 

As far as i'm aware i'm supposed to receive a free best mate for the duration of my plan...

The easiest is log in to your My Vodafone account and look at your plan and add-ons.

Internet is my backyard...

checked my vodafone online details, and it says i have a free bestmate till dec 2012

...strange then that the email would say i've just signed up to pay for one...

I know you guys have had a few eDM gliches in the last few days, so i'll tick that up to some frantic silly-season last-minute-marketing-campaign deadlines :)
