Is there a way like on 2 degrees?
Is the data 20 cents/MB on this plan?

If you have an iPhone or and Android device, there is an official Vodafone NZ app available in both marketplaces for free which I believe works with prepay accounts as well. Shows your bill, data balance, free minutes etc.

Do whatever you want to do man.

Thanks. At the moment is says 'Sorry there's a problem etc.' Hopefully it will give me my usage since I topped up, even though it's prepay with no addons.

The sim I want to check on is in a GPS tracker.  I have no addons. I just want to be able to see the cost of each GPRS message sent. I can see my balance on my smart phone with the app, but not the data usage and cost.

Each GPRS message sent?, Not sure what you mean by this

Data / Voice sessions are not broken down and displayed on Prepay yet

The GPS tracker sends coordinates every 3-5 minutes on gprs. If the data on prepay smart is only 20c/MB as I understand it, then it will only be 1 cent per message. On the vodafone site it says 'additional data is 20 cents/MB', so I take that to mean if I don't have any addons, That is what I pay.

Data sessions are rounded up to the nearest 10kb does the modem drop the PDP context in between these sessions?

Call customer service and they can confirm how much data is costing for the data sessions

Yes it does drop. On 2 degrees I get charged 1 cent every 3-5 minutes when it sends data
. Their data is 50 cents/MB, so Vodafone charge should be similar. I prefer to use vodafone because the tracker doesn't like roaming.
