just got new nokia e61 but after all the setting still cant not connect my mail box i used gmail plz help thanx

Welcome to Geekzone. Make sure the connection in use the web.vodafone.net.nz, not the wap one. And follow the configuration as explained in the Google help pages.

Note that there's a suggestion to use the mobile version of GMAIL, which is quite nice.

Please share your personal experience with this phone.
As I am using push email on my phone a lot, I was thinking to buy this.

How is it in general? Battery life? How fast is it? Any other things?

I is a kollege stoodent. Bee nice.

'Aloha', check out next months Tone Magazine for a review of the E61, I wrote it! Overall I really liked it, and if you use push email its great, the keyboard is not too small, the screen is great, and its a good size. What are you using at the moment?

Nokia 6680 at the moment, because it has some "special" softwares for my work.
But I am planning to change it soon.

well thats a nice phone too use ...and also when u do the text message so easy to type it . for internet just like computer ~nice speaker i like it ~~~but i m still try to work out my email setting ~~~~i will let you guys know ~~~~~
