EDIT:  By the way, if you see this Maverick, can you also ensure that my interleaving is still turned off on my Account: 2188105 - thanks Cool

Hi All,

Saw a post in the TelstraClear forum regarding line speeds, and came across mention of the DMT Sync Tool.

Here's my results from using it:

Before:

After:

I guess what I want to know, is are these typical speeds for the Xnet Fusion service?  Still seems a little 'light', and perhaps some indication of limiting(?) looking at the attainable Line Rates?

Cheers,

Acropoli

Hi, actually 8-9Mb/s on 35dB is about par for course, dont know what the house wiring is like but if its several micro filters then putting a central filter on might pick a meg or two up without compromising stability (ie pulling noise margin to 7dB).

Thanks for the input Cyril7.

The house has zero filters, being Naked DSL/Fusion but I do remember a tech ripping out a little black box (rectangle) which was connected to one of the jackpoints. Not sure what it was.

Hi, that will be the master filter, but thats fine if there is just the one jack, if its a single jack and naked then its ok to have no filter.
