Hi there

I have my broadband through I Hug ( Vodafone)
I am connected to the internet ok.
I have completed the speed test and that is all good.

However pages are downloading way too slowly...pages that are usually immediate are taking way too long to load.
I have contacted Vodafone help desk and they couldn't help.

Hoping someone here has an answer...so frustratingly slow!

Thanks!!

Some line/modem statistics would be a good start.

How is your PC connected to the router? Via ethernet or WiFi?

Are you using the ISP DNS or something else (if you are not sure, have DNS been changed by a "friend who knows all about Internet" for example?)

Have you installed any new programs before this started happening?

Are you running any antivirus? Which one?

When was the last time you ran a full antivirus scan?

Do you have filters for your phones on this line?

Line modem/stats can be found in your modem administration web pages.

I also use Vodafone broadband and have found it very slow since last night, no better today.  Seems worse for overseas sites.  Just run a speed test on Vodafone website, results as follows, but I don't have any previous speed test results to compare "normal" performance

Last Result:
Download Speed: 6550 kbps (818.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 506 kbps (63.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 26 ms

Think I'm having the same issue. A lot of webpages just taking a long time to load up, could be waiting a few seconds.

I'm on Vodafone. Same issue here - speedtests are fine but every device (windows 7 desktop, iPhone, iPad, iMac) is loading pages really really slow.

Glad to know I'm not the only one!

Ok, so those questions I posted first wound't apply, seeing this seems to be a widespread problem.

Pretty sure I was having the same problem. Sites that normally loaded fine were taking a long time. When I tried to do a Speed Test I was able to click Begin Test but nothing happened after that (didn't find a server, and no speed test). I thought it was my laptop playing up as it didn't seem to affect my phone, but as mentioned above seems to be resolved now.
