After rearranging my office it'd be handy to have a smaller cable to go from the wall to the cable modem. Can I buy them premade anywhere? Online or in a real store?

By smaller, do you mean shorter?

You can buy F cables an a number of places, just ensure it's a minimum of tri shielded to meet TCL's minimum requirements (everything they use is quad shielded).

Knowing the cable name helps, thanks! Where should I try? Online stores, dick smith, jaycar, etc? I expect a better range online. Ascent doesn't seem to have them, but their search engine's not so good.

Thanks Cyril that's a very nice offer :) I'm after 0.5m, my current one's a few meters and there's heaps of extra cable. Just let me know costs, i'm happy to pay for it :)

Cyril dropped a cable in while I wasn't home. Thanks very much, I appreciate it! Much better than the huge long cable I had :)
