I have a Nokia and I took my Vodafone SIM out and put my B+W one in and sending SMS worked straight away. My phone reports the message centre in use as "SIM message centre" and the SIM message centre number is "+6421600600" still.

To find the new settings, log into www.bw.co.nz and you will find the settings on the FAQ page.  Otherwise try this one, which will text the settings to you.  http://bw.wdsglobal.com/bw/phonefirst . You still need to be logged into use it.
