Does it work with some banks who when you do an online transaction. For example, the bank sends an authorisation code from a short number, and you have to txt back that code along with the one in online banking in order for the transaction to be processed?

@robbyp Only if the reply is free if not then no way

Let me know if you've had a different experience, but the sense I'm getting is that even if the reply is free (i.e. the bank is paying it or whatever), Kogan still doesn't allow it just because it involves a short code..

I must have a different bank from robbyp - with ASB they text you a code and then you just input it into the site/app, so Kogan would be fine there

Yeah, I'm on Kogan and can confirm that it's impossible to reply to short codes even free ones to unsubscribe.
It took me about half an hour trying to explain what a short code is to their customer service lol. They still couldn't/refused to help unsubscribe

Apart from not being able to send short codes and crap customer service (I've had to contact them twice since launch) everything works well and it's cheap.
