Ok, I finally got through to someone who told me they were open since 6.30am. hmm.... and I told them about the texts and they said they would get the supervisor to call me since the number was international. He called me back and got the dates and times of every text and he seems a lot nicer to deal with unlike one lady when I called about the billing issue. He said he would pass it on to the provider (I assume he means Vodafone by that). Then get back to me tomorrow some time or later on today. He thinks he might be able to get the number barred, and I asked for my voice mail to be deactivated too because I have my last name on there which this person texting me doesn't know yet. Will post back when I receive the next call

tardtasticx: But I can't stop them! ...

Would pls elaborate: do you mean that the workaround suggested by jadefuzy (software intercepting the SMS before you even hear the alert-tone) does not work for you?

Lol, I never ended up posting back here for some reason. But heres what happened.

The supervisor got back to me and said the number wasn't possible to block, so I got my number changed. They gave me an 028 number, followed by another 8 digits (028-1234-5678) so its super long. Lol. I left them about 2 weeks after that because of billing issues I think it was, and went to Vodafone, then moved to Orcon and I'm with Orcon still.
