Ok, someone from over seas (I have no idea who) is texting me on my BW phone, and the number is +8823470046360 and I found out, +88 is Bangladesh, and +882 is a satellite phone. I cant call Black + White because they are only open 24/7 for lost and stolen phones, and tomorrow is the weekend. This person is saying I'm really hot and all this, and asked me just before to compare my penis to a hot dog. :/
I hav'nt txt this person back and I dont intend to either because,
1. It'd cost me a fortune
2. Common rule, never txt them back
3. I dont want to get involved with this person.

So what can I do?

Just ignore them until Monday. Then contact B+W. The number can be fake anyway - but contact the operator as they should have a routine to deal with this kind of situation.

I agree just wait til you can call your provider they should be able to confirm if number is fake or not and posibly lock them if needed.

:@ I tried calling them today, and shocka, they are closed still. I know its a public holiday, but they should look after the customers and at least keep a couple of staff on hand or something. So I'm basically stuck until tomorrow then. Not impressed at all.

B+W is a Vodafone reseller. I would imagine John knows what he's talking about in regards to them.

Still, surely B+W could lodge a harassment ticket with Vodafone?

Well I hope so, Kinda annoyed at everything they have been doing so far. All my minutes and texts are meant to reset on the 13th of Jan, but they are billing me on the 7th for some reason. If I cant get a new number from them or they are unable to fix it, I'll just buy a new sim and go back to voda.

I'm trying to call them now but the answer machine tells me to call back during business hours (Mon-Fri, 8.30am-8.30pm). Bet they think its a real slow day

Its international just ignore them and delete them you are wasting your own time. Trust me B&W will not be able to do anything. If they were coming to my own number I could do nothing as well.

I had a simlar Problem with An X partner of mine sending me sms al the time as ya do. i got a program and installed it on to my phone it cost me like 40 dollars or somthing i can't remember. but it does work and it works very its a program that filers your sms messages it can reject that ones you don't want and keep the ones you want. well it's worth the money i paid for it silence at last. they can finaly they can waste there time for a change

But I can't stop them! That's the whole problem. The person knows my name and texts me about 2am every freaking day and it's beyond a joke if this is what they are intending. I can't even contact black and white because the newember line is closed, customer support line is closed and so it the "24 hour" lost and stolen mobile line... Useless Aussies

B+W is a New Zealand company, based here in New Zealand.

The number maybe fake. The operator should have a team to deal with nuisance calls and SMS. Keep trying B+W. If not, port the number to other telco - then try dealing with them.

@jade, I have a windows mobile phone but it likes to connect to GPRS when ever it feels like it ( even when it's dissabled it turns back on) so I refuse to use it without a data plan. And my current phone runs symbian s40 ( stupidi nokia OS) so I don't think It would run on this phone. Thanks anyways. I'll try get a new number because I'm certain this person got it online somewhere. Thanks John for your help also. I'll let you all know what happens when I actually get in contact with BW via something other than facebook. :(
