I believe Health Physics in general relates to uses of and safety of ionising radiation only. Pockett claims strong evidence exists showing non-ionising radiation is or can be dangerous independent of any heating effect.

Pockett has research interests on the relationship between electromagnetic fields and consiousness, that is the connection in this case.

I do wonder if some of the funds and activities raised by anti-5G to bring various speakers to NZ could have been better spent on a program of controlled research to replicate and study the most concerning aspects of the claimed evidence.

Probably a similar number to how many of them use wifi or a cellphone to spew their garbage across Facebook, or happily watch television beamed in from a UHF aerial or satellite, or do so much as switch on a lightbulb inside.

Glastonbury 5G report 'hijacked by conspiracy theorists'

Now, three members of the group that produced the report have told the BBC they resigned because it was taken over by anti-5G activists and "spiritual healers".

"The whole thing was completely biased from the beginning," says Mark Swann, one of those who resigned.

"Genuine scientific expertise has been scorned in favour of conspiracy and hearsay," wrote David Swain in his letter of resignation.

From that article:

Earlier this month, Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) issued fines totalling $151,200 to MMS Australia for alleged unlawful advertising of Miracle Mineral Solution and other medicines.

Australia has some really good consumer protection laws, effectively enforced. From reading Consumer, they regularly point out that something like what they're reporting on wouldn't be allowed to happen in Australia. Pity our enforcement isn't as good here...
