neb: From that article:
Earlier this month, Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) issued fines totalling $151,200 to MMS Australia for alleged unlawful advertising of Miracle Mineral Solution and other medicines.
Australia has some really good consumer protection laws, effectively enforced. From reading Consumer, they regularly point out that something like what they're reporting on wouldn't be allowed to happen in Australia. Pity our enforcement isn't as good here...

I seem to remember we were going to unify our regulations on therapeutics with Australia , which might have given us better regulations around sunscreen as well but....

I think that this was torpedoed as part of this deal, from memory.

"Under the Key-led government in 2009, the two parties signed an agreement to work on furthering three key policy areas - home insulation, energy efficiency and regulation of natural health products. "

Its sad that you can't get through to them that good consumer protection should not be contrary to 'Green' principles.

I remember it took consumer testing to expose a "Green" sunscreen that is 1/10th of its protective rating .

neb: Glastonbury 5G report 'hijacked by conspiracy theorists'
Now, three members of the group that produced the report have told the BBC they resigned because it was taken over by anti-5G activists and "spiritual healers". "The whole thing was completely biased from the beginning," says Mark Swann, one of those who resigned. "Genuine scientific expertise has been scorned in favour of conspiracy and hearsay," wrote David Swain in his letter of resignation.

Its a good read of what maybe coming our way , these people are highly motivated , seeming to have endless time.
Something you could expect to be a plot of a comedy.

Go out of their way
"Mr Baker has campaigned against 5G across the south-west."
" He highlighted a video in which Mr Baker admitted some of his fuel costs were paid by a benefactor. "
Apparently does not even live in Glastonbury ,.

"They included retired American professor Martin Pall, who in 2019 claimed that wireless networks would make all human beings sterile if they were not switched off within two years."

Seems 1 more year and we won't have to worry about protecting future generations anyway ........?

"Global" protest would assume the earth is not, in actuality, flat...

I think those finer points would be lost on certain members of our community' particularly those that would be scared of falling off the edge.

Ok, here's a question for the anti-5G brigade:

"Wait, how can we be Covid19-free and stil have 5G operating? What dark magic did NZ government use?"

People will disregard any evidence that goes against their believes. Tell these idiots the radiation is "non-ionising" and that walking under the sun causes skin damage on a scale that there's no way could be reproduced with 5G/WiFi/TV signals alone and they won't accept it. Tell them a GPB 300 device can protect them against 5G, coronavirus and government mind-control and they accept it as a matter of faith.

Faith...

I got a notice about new LED lights being installed on our street.

Key information was missed so an additional notice issued.

It’s pretty sad they had to add this line:

“The lights being installed do not operate on 5G or form part of the 5G network”

Maybe they could put a defensive mode on the lights, where they put out a blinding light if someone tries to interfere with them. 😅

Then you get the NZHerald printing this:

Pete Evans urges Black Lives Matter activists to tear down 5G towers

17 Jun, 2020 1:07pm

What sort of responsible journalism is that?

None - yet the NZHerald want you to subscribe to their tabloid!

Fight fire with fire (or propaganda with propaganda). Future notices should state that the new LED street lights have anti-5G blocking properties.
