That's essentially what they'd said. They go me to put in a code on the dial pad, and if the numbers disappeared, VoLTE was not able to enabled without a fresh sim. While it very much seems like something was blocked, and possibly from earlier sims, it also seems very unreasonable on their part that a sim that's less than 6 months old is doing this.
