It seems there's a bit of a cult around this. There's a lot of stuff on the interweb if you google it, e.g.

http://shopping.yahoo.com/blogs/digital-crave/top-25-funny-wi-fi-names-200322177.html

Until recently I had 'CIA Surveillance'. Currently I have ' kim.dotcom Secret New Startup'. Juvenile I know but a bit of fun.

Now thinking of changing to '[Streetname] Bordello, Massage and Escorts'. Just for the amusement of the neighbours.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Hmmm. I should really do this. My current WiFi name is boring.

I have had "FBI safe house" for about four years now, and about a year ago I renamed the old mans to "get off my wifi"

At my inlaws I can see "pretty fly for a wifi"

Mine I can't post here. It won't let me due to language involved. Lol.

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

My routers over the years have been named after moons and planets. I've been through Titan, Triton, Iapetus and now have Ganymede (wifi), Enceladus (Apple TV), Phobos (Airport Express).

Cheers,
Joseph

Use any name of a virus or worm.
Eg. Win32.Brontok.A@mm :)

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

I'm boring; mine's just Behodar.

From work I can see "White Island Hotspot". I know that RF travels well over sea but 50 km is just ridiculous :P

I have "Quick look over there --->>>" and "Kiwi Street Free Wifi"

When I used to use my Mifi on the train it was "Tranzmetro Free Wifi - Trial" was a great laugh hearing peoples reaction when they found it broadcasting.

The main router has "Starbucks Free WiFi" for theirs, which of course is protected. Mine has "We can hear you having sex".

I love seeing ones impersonating free wifi AP's. Especially when they're protected.
