Texting NZ based SMS short codes from overseas based mobile services. For subscription and offers etc. Is it designed to work and does it work ok? Thanks!

No as the overseas carriers will not have the routing rules for the SMS, They will only work if a NZ customer is roaming

Hmm ok. So even a simple text email for subscription type thing will fail. Even with the country code. Any exceptions?
