I am researching SMS Gateway options - does anyone have any recommendations or advice on solutions to avoid? Looks like clickatell is quite popular in NZ? We will be using it ad-hoc to communicate to NZ and Oz customers, probably a few thousand messages a month.

Not specific to Australasia by we've used Twilio, although with very low volume of messages.

 

The APIs are very easy to use and it's been rock solid for us, don't know how prices compare to local offerings.
