Is this service only available on Vodafone? I've seen no mention of it on any mobile provider website. Its such a handy thing when travelling, and I'm loathe not the option of having it by moving from VF.

Vodafone are the only network that has launched such an option in the NZ market.

Agree that to me it is a deal breaker for transferring to an other provider.

I had this in Europe last year, was awesome. Was in a different country every 2-3 days so swapping SIMs wasnt really an option.

 

 

 

That said...  how many people travel so much that this is a reason not to move to a better plan? :)

I was just looking at these roaming packs after coming back from Asia.  The $5 is great if the list supports your countries.  Good for short trips but a 3 or 4 week trip at $5/day does add up.  The countries I was visiting was unfortunately not on the list, so they were quite expensive.
