Does anyone know of a company offering true unlimited fixed wireless broadband?

I live exactly 2k from the exchange and get 5mbps on a good day on adsl, yet my 4g gets nearly 30mbps on the spark network.

I see Skinny have 3 deals, 40g, 100g and unlimited, but the unlimited moves back to copper adsl, GRRR! So very frustrating! Must be some far flung ISP offering this?

If unlimited was offered then you would see a big drop on 4G speeds and you would want to move back to ADSL

There is a few small VF Resellers who can do this, majority of the ones i have come across are local ones.

I'd advise verymuch against such an idea, and question why these resellers shoot their service in the foot.

at 2KM of physical cable, i'd expect over 10mbit likely around the 16mbit and potentially marginal vdsl service (in a rural area)

Post your line stats.

As you have commented on Sparks service, spark does offer a 200GB 4G WBB Business service, priced quite nicely which may suite.

The simple answer is plenty.

I'm assuming you're after 4G fixed wireless though which has a different answer.

Skinny B.B. is technically unlimited as you can ‘recharge’ your account at any time... $52/100Gb is a good price, through after the third boost in the same month (Christmas holidays with NFlix and young kids and guests etc) $156/300Gb started getting pricy again 😬

To be honest, data requirements I'm not actually sure, but a lot heh. From what I have read Netflix UHD is between 15-20Mbps so stream that at maybe 20-30 hours a month. Thats before maybe downloading some UHD content etc...

That is more like 4-5km from the exchange.
You have a line fault or are actually way further than you think from the exchange your line is connected to.

If your intending to stream uhd then yeah fixed line connectivity would be best.

Talk to Ultimate Wireless in chch and Amurinet in culverden. They have extensive networks throughout cantebury and im sure would have an unlimited plan

Just checked, they are both doing unlimited on RBI but its 3g and they do have some unadvertised plans on their own networks.
