Hi all, thinking to buy a budget phone, something like this https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/MPHSAM11010/ is it really "Locked" or it is possible unlock it in the future? cheers

It is locked to Vodafone but I think it's around $35 to unlock it. It may be more these days.

I cant recall when and what phone and who was the "locker" but 2degress did it for free when I bought their SIM card. I'm sure it was not in my dream.

I think you'll find that Vodafone will do it for free after so many months, maybe 6 months.
