While here at Microsoft Tech Ed I met Black + White's Jonathan Eele and had a very interesting chat about value added services, MVNO and more. I also saw the Nokia 6220 with the "Black + White" sign and interestingly the Palm booth had the recently announced Palm Treo Pro Windows Mobile handset with the Black + White background and customisation:

I was just going to post a question about B+W but since everybody will now read your post somebody is bound to know the answer! :-)

Does anybody know what prefix 02x prefix B+W will use? They aren't listed on the NAD (well aren't listed as B+W could be using another company name).

02885 according to Tony...

I was told they got more than 100 beta testers since I posted about them in my blog.

Nice phone indeed... it is among the list of phones that will try to win my attention, so far HTC Touch Pro, HTC S740 and now Palm Treo Pro... Would be nice to see if B+W will do a customised B+W WM theme.

So are they going to be the first company to upgrade to latest WM software etc, unlike telecom?

Just remember they are still pre-launch so a barrage of questions via email will only slow things down.

The info will come when they are ready, which will be very soon :-)
