Hi all,

I've been having a problem with my Warehouse Mobile data seemingly cutting out for short periods of time (less than 5 seconds, but repeatedly) on my phone.

I think this is a seperate issue to the one where the data stops working completely and my phone asks me to sign into the network (which toggling airplane mode on and off seems to fix).

Has anyone else had this problem?

Cheers

I'm also having real trouble topping up and using the Warehouse Mobile app/website.

Spark prepay with data stack is looking pretty attractive!

I've recently changed from Warehouse Mobile having that for a year back to Skinny mobile. I had coverage issues & data problems & was very slow. I got sick of pressing airplane mode on/off to get data working after switching it back on which I usually have it turned off. I did a speed test & I got with Warehouse Mobile (2 Degrees network) around 2-3mbps 4G. Skinny mobile (Spark network) around 30mbps on 4G.

No regrets.  I turn on data & its works straight away. Coverage better when I'm travelling around the sth island. Skinny mobile prepay is far better when comparing the two. You get what you pay for.

YES, I see this regularly and it's a right pain in the behind. I understand WH Mobile is a budget service but there is clearly a network issue there. At first I thought it was my mobile hotspot causing the problem, but I'm now experiencing it on 2 different handset.

WH Mobile were useless and said to restart handset. Yeah that gets things going again but it appears it's a network issue and not a handset issue given it happens on multiple device all witht he same symptoms and resolution (toggle flight mode on and off, or restart handset)

Is there anyone at 2 degrees or WH Mobile who can explain what's going on here and what they are going to do to rectify it.

Thanks

I have given up and switched to Spark prepaid with data stack ($19 per 28 days). It's quite a bit more expensive, but no data connection problems, and I like the idea that the data which comes with it increases over time (albiet slowly). Also nice to have 'free' texts and phone calls again.

I’m on WM for months now and my data issue is because of weak 4G signal. This causes the phone to alternate between 3G and 4G thus having that data gaps. Doesn’t annoy me much as no other provider charges $4/month...

The customer service is quick to reply but isn’t very helpful.

Good luck!
