Hi,

I have another request for a cell tower lookup:

LAC   CID   Carrier

26   25081   53001

45104   25601 53001

1303   58498   ?

I try Open Cell ID and geek giz with no luck, if there is another way then let me know.

Is there a way to know if I am picking up someone's repeater?

Ta in advance.

TW.

Certainly their MSC. Based on LAC looks to be south island and a bit of welly.

Cheers for the feedback.

I believe the carriers that I have entered are Vodafone which is what I expected. I think that should be 3 zeros on the MNC MCC carrier ID, i.e. 530001

The region is Wellington.

I'm going off the LTE discovery app, here is the actual output:

Signal 1:

GSM:

LAC:45104

CID: 25601

RNC: 7

PSC: 402

LTE:

GCI:00076401

PCI: N/A

TAC:45104

Signal 2:

GSM:

LAC:1303

CID: 58495

RNC: 301

PSC: 402

LTE:

GCI: 00076401

PCI: N/A

TAC:45104

Signal 3:

GSM:

LAC:26

CID: 25081

RNC: 0

PSC: 402

LTE: N/A

I am guessing I might be picking up cook strait, karori somewhere or even the south island.

I am also worried I'm just picking up a signal booster somewhere near by (not sure how to check for that).

VF Suresignals seem to have a PSC single digit.

Ala mine is '2' from memory

Can't find anything obvious in that area. I only have an RBI list for Vodafone.
